Yes, it is time again, we just released another great version. Except for some bugfixing we have some new functionality.

You should definetly check out the templates plugin, besides just doing the basic (inserting some HTML) it can be used for highly advanced stuff, we are going to improve the documentation and examples as soon as we can, to show you what you can do with it.

The Attributes dialog, a nice to have feature for managing all kinds of basic element attributes.

Here is a list of some of the more important updates.

We have added a ton of examples now, check out the wiki for more information (TinyMCE -> Installation instructions -> Examples).

Code:

Added new template plugin, this supports simple snippets and advanced smart templates.
Added new attributes dialog for xhtmlxtras plugin. Based on contribution by Ryan Demmer.
Added new support for table captions, captions can now be toggled on or off on tables.
Added new more colors link for text/background color menus.
Added new more advanced color picker based on a contribution by Tristan Poet.
Added new functionality to always keep inlinepopups in viewable area contributed by Joshua T. Corbin.
Added new maximize button for inlinepopups contributed by Joshua T. Corbin.
Fixed major bug where url convertion logic wasn't executed correctly.
Fixed so the fix_list_elements option is enabled by default to produce more valid XHTML code.
Fixed so that all more info links on plugins point to the wiki in the about dialog.

And a big thank's to everyone helping out on the wiki!

Can we use template plugin to do something like smarty template coding?
If yes.. I think it is time to stop using my CodeProtectEx plugin.

No, it's only for inserting HTML chunks no for loops of special smarty stuff.

The "Constraint proportions" doesn't seem to work in Opera 9.10, gives "-NaN" if you change width or height.

Unless his company wanted to aquire the rights for TinyMCE, I guess you should've directed him to your Donate page. I think TinyMCE developers deserve that for their efforts. But then... that's you choice. I wish you all my best!

True, we do have a commercial license for those who can not use the LGPL type of licenses. But other than that, it is not possible to require the rights for TinyMCE, unless your company name is Google
